“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
― Leonardo da Vinci

Braedon read the poems aloud as the floor boards creaked under our feet. His voice adding a whole new level of love to the words already held so close to my heart.
Lily brought her camera and so thoughtfully captured moments and items that called to her. The butterflies on the quilt, the typewriter keys, the shadows beside the curtains.
Halfway through our time there, I realized I kept holding my breath.
I think part of me wanted to somehow keep Robert Frost’s ghost in my lungs as long as possible.

There are ZERO words to express how incredible yesterday was. Every single second of this Pennsylvania wedding was absolutely magical. I promise to share a million more images, sharing the incredible talents of Belovely floral and event design and Lovesick, but for now, a little tiny sneak peek before we get back on the road…

We spent the day with our incredible family visiting from Portland, OR and as we drove away to head to tonight’s engagement session I thought, “Today couldn’t get any better.”
Wrong.
Sunshine + rain + the craziest sky I’ve ever seen + the biggest double rainbow I’ve ever stood under (no, but for real. In that image down there, the couple is the tiny dot on the left!) + the ocean + big beautiful trees + the sweetest love in the whole wide world…
This. THIS is what it’s all about.
